Walking with thee
Clinic
Such a clever conceptual video!!! and such a killer track too.
The Man is everywhere. In the White House, down the hall and the Man ruined the ozone, and he’s burning down the Amazon, and he kidnapped Shamu and put her in a chlorine tank! And there used to be a way to stick it to The Man. It was called rock ‘n’ roll. But guess what. Oh, no. The Man ruined that too with a little thing called MTV! - Jack black in school of rock
Conditions of my parole
Pusicfer
Loving this performance by Tool/a perfect circle’s front man Maynard James Keenan’s other band Puscifer. Maynard really does look like Ben Stiller here, hehe
Do I have Power
By Timber Timbre
Absolutely amazing music vid!!! song is pretty wicked too

The man on the mission is Devendra Banhart. I’ve known about this odd hippie gypsy type character for a couple of years now, but had never heard any of his music. So when I recently heard his track “bad girl” I was rather impressed. So I then preceded to listen to a whole bunch of his other stuff and was REALLY impressed, mainly due to the fact that he can’t be pigenholed into a specific genre. His style ranges from folk to classical to psychedelic, from Bob Dylan to Elvis style and in variety of different languages.
Interesting facts:
- Banhart was born in Houston, Texas and was raised by his mother in Venezuela, until he moved to California as a teenager
- In 1998, Banhart began studying at the San Francisco Art Institute on a scholarship while living in The Castro, San Francisco’s gay neighborhood. He began to busk instead of attending classes and played his first show in a church at a gay wedding
- Banhart is also a visual artist and some of his drawings were featured in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art ,Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels and many more venues
- He is a collector of music artIfacts
- Banhart is an avid skateboarder, and in March 2010 broke a bone in his right leg while skating, only hours before a concert in Phoenix, resulting in the cancellation of future shows in Utah and Colorado

I stumbled across this guy while watching “Charlie StCloud”.. instantly falling in love with the song. I have heard it a few times on radio but for some reason never really noticing how strong a song it is until now.
Quite Scary since his first single came out six years ago. Better late than never i guess

Big Jet Plane
Angus & Julia Stone
It seems Australian Folk Siblings Angus and Julia Stone are really making a name for themselves in the music world.
When I first heard them last year I wasn’t sold on them, but on hearing Big jet plane I was simply blown away and its practically been on repeat, hehe. Give this track a listen and tracks like Just a boy, and Mango tree.
I’ve never been a big fan of hip-hop. But when I heard “212” by the new hip hop star Azealia Banks I couldn’t help being really impressed!!!. The 20 year old does sound a bit like Nicki Minaj on “212”, however I feel there is a lot more originality and edginess here. Oh and the lyrics are very dirty indeed, hehe, well “Gaga” sure overplayed the controversy card, so other artists are entitled to too (even if it just a tenth of Gaga’s)
So let’s watch this space!!!
The Frowning Clouds - Purple Heart
CoOoOOool stuff. Current band from Australia, I think. Sounds like Exile-era Stones to me.
This is awesome, it’s like Exile-era Stones with a bit of Billy Childish mixed in, it’s great. Also a bit brian jonestown massacre
